Vortex Fusion Grooves (VFG) is a nonprofit dance group founded in November 2023 by a group of Chinese postdoctoral scholars at Stanford University. The group features a diverse range of dance styles, including Chinese classical dance, Chinese fusion dance, jazz, hip-hop, urban, etc. As of now, VFG has over 60 active members.
The mission of VFG is to provide a supportive platform for Chinese students and staff at Stanford to stay active, express their creativity, and build community through dance, and encourage artistic exploration across styles. VFG regularly offers community-based dance workshops and participates in various charitable performances both on and off the Stanford campus.
Vortex Fusion Grooves（VFG）舞团是由斯坦福大学的中国博士后于2023年11月创立的公益性舞蹈团体。舞团风格多样，涵盖中国古典舞、中国风融合舞、爵士舞、嘻哈、Urban等多种舞种。目前，VFG已有60余位活跃团员。
VFG旨在为斯坦福的中国学生与工作人员提供一个支持性的舞蹈平台，在舞动中强身健体、释放创意，并建立归属感与社群连接，鼓励不同舞蹈风格的艺术探索。VFG定期开展公益舞蹈教学以及参与斯坦福校内外的各类公益演出活动。
